If you ever visit FCJ Group, you'll meet engineers tuning oil presses on the factory floor, sales managers on
video calls with clients across continents. What you probably wouldn't picture is the same group of people, after
hours, lacing up and stepping onto a basketball court in matching jerseys.
This is Team FCJ.
Five men. Five numbers: 3, 5, 11, 13, 18. They come from different departments — production, sales, quality
control, R&D. By day, each owns a piece of the business. On the court, each owns a position.
There was no ceremony when the team came together. Just a few colleagues who decided: let's get jerseys made,
find a court, and play.
The court they chose has a giant Kobe Bryant banner on the wall. That might not be a coincidence. Strip away
the legend, and Kobe's "Mamba Mentality" comes down to two things: hold yourself to a standard nobody else will, and take ownership of the outcome.
That philosophy isn't just for basketball. It's how manufacturing works. Every weld. Every assembly step.
Every final inspection. When nobody is watching — what standard do you hold?
FCJ builds industrial equipment — oil presses, refining lines, palm oil turnkey plants. Our customers don't
put these machines on display. They run production with them. A breakdown doesn't mean "send it back." It
means a halted line, delayed orders, real money lost.

So in a very real sense, making equipment is like playing basketball: the work you put in when nobody is watching determines what happens when everybody is.

That's why there's a saying among the FCJ team:Teammates on the court, brothers in the work.
On the court, when you pass the ball, your teammate needs to catch it.
At work, when you hand off a design to production, or a shipment to logistics, the next person needs to run
with it — no fumbles.
A project moves from order to delivery the way a basketball moves from defense to offense. R&D feeds
procurement, procurement feeds production, production feeds QC, QC feeds shipping. Every position matters,
and nobody wins alone.
The team is young. But some things aren't about how long you've been playing.
