Palm Oil Refining and Fractionation Production Line

The palm oil refining and fractionation production line is an integrated system designed to improve the quality of crude palm oil and produce high-value palm oil fractions.

The production line combines physical or chemical refining technology with advanced fractionation technology. Through degumming, deacidification, decolorization, deodorization, cooling crystallization and filtration processes, impurities, free fatty acids, pigments and odors are removed, while palm oil is separated into different fractions such as palm olein and palm stearin.

2.Processing Flow

1. Degumming

Phosphoric acid or hot water is added to remove gums, phospholipids and other impurities from crude palm oil.

2. Deacidification

Free fatty acids are removed through alkali neutralization or physical refining technology to improve oil quality.

3. Bleaching

Activated clay is used to remove pigments and impurities, improving the color and stability of refined palm oil.

4. Deodorization

High-temperature vacuum steam distillation removes unpleasant odors and volatile substances.

5. Cooling Crystallization

The refined palm oil is cooled under controlled conditions to form crystals with different melting points.

6. Fractionation Separation

Through filtration separation, palm oil is divided into:
